19-12-2011The Tune it! Safe! Abt Audi R8 GTR has been recently presented to the public at the 2011 Essen Motor Show, with the model being developed to promote responsible tuning.

Even if the model has been modified in order to promote responsible tuning, the Abt R8 GTR is still fitted with some interesting things, like the super-lightweight 19 inch aluminum wheels, CR made by ABT, wrapped in 235/35 Hankook tires, or the Alcantara leather trim on the inside, black sky, black carpets, black dashboard, reflect athletic class, police foil décor Foliatec, traffic lights of the police RTK7 Hella, ceramic brake pads, stainless steel sport exhaust system, ABT sports suspension, ABT damper, carbon body kit by ABT, Recaro racing seats, ABT carbon sports steering wheel, roll-over bar, four-point harness system and many other features.

Power to the Audi R8 GTR still comes from the “classic” 5.2 liter V10 FSI engine which is now developing a total output of 620 horsepower and has a maximum torque of 550 Nm. The Audi R8 GTR can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds while the 0 to 200 km/h is being done in 9.9 seconds, with an average fuel consumption of 16.3 liters super plus every 100 km.
